Zone Ads
Beginning
I was tasked with selling and designing two ads for Zone Magazine. I sold both of mine to grocery stores in Livingston, each for $350. After asking each store manager what they might want for their ad, and being told it is completely up to me, I came up with two grocery store ad sketches to try out.

I then went and took pictures in the actual stores based on my sketches. I then laid simple white or black boxes over certain parts of each image and made them opaque enough to see the original photos but also see the added text better too.
End
After my first drafts were made, they were presented to a graphic design professor who said they were, quote, “Almost a home run.” Since ‘almost’ works in horseshoes and not baseball, I made adjustments to the spacing of words and added a call to action to each.
